Beth & Jimmy – Married!!

Beth & Jimmy got married on a lovely fall day.  With their ceremony at Vineville United Methodist Church, and their reception at the Hay House, we had some great locations to work with for photographs!  These two live in our neighborhood, so there was extra pressure to get great photographs – they know where we live!:D  I think the photos turned out well enough that we don’t have to worry about them egging our house. lol!

We had a great time working with Kevin Nichols of DKH Entertainment and Macon Lights at this event.  Kevin did a spectacular job lighting the inside of the Hay House, and as always, an equally fantastic job keeping the evening moving and playing great music.

Now, here are some of our favorite images from Beth & Jimmy’s wedding!

The Hay House has a lovely bridal prep room!

I loved Beth’s shoes!
They had a sweet ‘First Look’.
I LOVE this portrait!
Fun bridal party!
Jimmy & Beth win the award for the best first kiss of 2011…I think my jaw dropped when Jimmy dipped Beth!
The lighting in the Hay House was awesome…big thumbs up to DKH Entertainment!

Jennifer & Brad – Married!!

We had so much fun photographing Jennifer & Brad!  They both were so nice to work with, and had such great senses of humor.  Their mothers were friends in High School, got back in touch with each other several years ago, and that resulted in Jennifer & Brad meeting each other.  I can honestly say they just seem perfect for each other!  Jennifer & Brad had a gorgeous fall wedding at The Blacksmith Shop in Macon.

They really went all out incorporating the Fall theme into their wedding and had some really beautiful details. I LOVED the cakes by Lisa Mae Cakes…the owls on the wedding cake were so cute, and the Oreo groom’s cake was so exactly like an Oreo it was crazy!

Here are some of our favorite photographs!

Handsome groom!

Gorgeous bride!  Jennifer got ready at the Marriott City Center hotel, and the lobby was fabulous for photographing!

It was a perfect day for an outdoor ceremony in the courtyard at the Blacksmith Shop!

First dance!!

I love the night shots we took at this wedding!

After party!  This shot made me laugh – Jennifer’s reaction to Brad’s antics was hilarious!

Jessica & Dustin – Married!!

One word comes to mind when I think of Jessica & Dustin’s wedding – elegance.  There was a classic elegance in everything involved with this beautiful wedding.  We had a great time working with Jessica & Dustin and getting to know them and their families.  Jessica & Dustin don’t live in Macon, and we had not gotten the chance to meet them before the wedding, so we were delighted to find them to be as super sweet as Jessica seemed over the phone! They held their ceremony at Vineville United Methodist Church, and their reception at the Hay House.

Now, here are a few of our favorite images!

First, I adored Jessica’s dress, and her fabulous Badgley Mischka shoes!

Jessica & Dustin decided to see each other before the ceremony for portrait time, and this is one of their first look photos.  So sweet!

LOVE THIS!!

Jessica’s eyes are so beautiful…no photoshop magic needed!

I so love this brick wall!

Georgia & Dave – Married!!

Georgia & Dave had a lovely wedding on a beautiful Fall day.  I can’t say enough about what a nice group of people we had to work with at this wedding.  Georgia and Dave were two of the most calm, collected people I’ve ever worked with on a wedding day.

They also made some great choices with their vendors, and we were thrilled to get to work with some of our favorite people at this wedding!  First, big props to our favorite floral company, Nectar & Company.  As always their flowers were stunning. Secondly, our favorite DJ (and good friend), Kevin Nichols of DKH Entertainment, kept things rocking at the reception. Amanda Meadows at Amanda’s Cakery made a super cool groom’s cake. We also had the chance to work with (and eat the food from) caterer Bobbi Jo Carver of Ashley Lauren Ltd – yum! I also have to make mention of Calista Anne Waddy – the harpist who played gorgeous music at the ceremony. And last, but certainly not least, one of our favorite venues – The Blacksmith Shop – was the site of the reception.

Here are some of our favorite photos from the day!

First, some of the gorgeous details!  Some of the prettiest flowers I’ve seen, and check out the cool handmade bracelets that were given to the bridesmaids!

Ashley & Miles – Engaged!!

I (Heather) got to photograph Ashley & Miles’ engagement session a little while back, and I wanted to share some of the photographs!  Ashley & Miles are such a cute, funny couple.  Miles had me laughing through the whole session, so I’m really looking forward to photographing their wedding in just a few weeks in Dublin, GA!

Here are a few of my favorite photographs from the session!

Thanks for being so fun, Ashley & Miles!  We’re looking forward to the wedding!

Much love,

Heather

Kristin & David – Engaged!!

Kristen & David are both UGA graduates, so when they asked if we would take their engagement photos in Athens, we were happy to make the trip!  The UGA campus is gorgeous, and we could happily photograph there every week…it seemed like there was something cool around every corner!

Kristen & David actually met on campus working at the Rec Sports Complex, and they are such a cute couple!  I love the way they look at each other!

Kristin & David – thank you both for being so great to work with at your engagement session, and we can’t wait for the wedding!

Much love,

Heather & Kenneth
