A few weeks ago, we had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Jada and J.C. right here in our hometown of Macon, Georgia. The ceremony was at the gorgeous St. Joseph’s Catholic Church and the reception was at The Armory Ballroom. Both were stunning venues, and served as fantastic settings for Jada & J.C.’s fabulous wedding!
Jada and J.C. have been together for 10 years, so it was a huge celebration as they made it official. J.C. is a baseball player and played for the Macon Braves, which is how these two lovebirds met. He’s originally from Venezuela, and it was exciting to see how many of his family members traveled all that way to be present at the wedding. Jada had some special touches of her own…I was totally in love with her wedding gown, but then she put the icing on the cake with a pair of leopard print high heels! I LOVE it when brides wear colorful and unusual shoes. The tear jerker of the evening – Jada had songs played and sang to honor her grandparents and her mother. There was a lot of sniffling going on!
Ok, enough of my rambling…on with the pictures, and as always, click the link at the bottom of the post to see the slideshow!
As you can see, Jada was stunning!

St. Joseph’s is a really beautiful building…I loved the reflection in the marble floor!

I loved the way the lights looked during Jada and J.C.’s first dance…there’s nothing like professional uplighting to really show off a venue!

The Armory Ballroom looked absolutely amazing with the lights!

Have you noticed that we love doing night shots? Dark is the enemy of most photographers, but we LOVE it. This is one of my favorite groom portraits ever…I told J.C. to look at me like he was ready to KILL me. Bam – pure drama!

One more night shot to close the post…this is our favorite shot from the day, and is now a HUGE print in our studio!

Jada and J.C., thank you both so much for choosing us to photograph your wedding! It was a huge honor to be part of the celebration!
Much love,
